At first glance, the title Too Old to Die Young may sound paradoxical, because with her Fall-Winter 2020/21 collection from Madrid Fashion Week, Ana Locking is addressing Generation Z. However, the designer is used to encoding deeper messages in her collections , than it appears on the surface. For her, fashion is both a game, a vocation, and quite an artisanal process.

She doesn't have big companies behind her to support her business. Not because they didn't offer her, but because she still chooses her freedom and makes her own decisions, surrounded by her small team. And this desire to escape from norms and the choice, above all, of personal freedom largely characterizes the generation born at the end of the 90s of the 20th century.

Rebellion in the post-punk collection is a must. The clothes are layered on top of each other more than boldly, reducing including gender differences. Tulle, sequins, animal prints go together. Fringe Lurex mini dresses are combined with more traditional materials such as tweed or jacquard. Quilted "metallic" jackets and vinyl trenches. Riot in colors too from black and white tones to richer, more intense colors like midnight blue, red, metallic green.
